Man City target Isco set for Real Madrid talks

Man City target Isco set for Real Madrid talks

Isco won't make a decision over his future at Real Madrid until after their overseas preseason tour.
The Spain midfielder is a top target for Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola.
And Marca says Real will discuss the playmaker's future during the club's pre-season tour of Canada and the USA.
Isco has been in and out of Los Blancos' first team since joining them from Malaga in the summer of 2013.

Madrid expect to make signings this summer and subsequently want to speak to the Spaniard to discuss his future.

Mourinho angry Man Utd allowed Renato Sanches to join Bayern Munich

Jose Mourinho is upset Manchester United were beaten by Bayern Munich to the signing of former Benfica midfielder Renato Sanches.

United were favourites to sign the 18-year-old.

But Louis van Gaal, Mourinho's predecessor, did not want to sign the Portugal international and United cooled their interest, allowing him to sign for Bayern Munich on May 10.

The Daily Record cite friends close to Mourinho who claim the United boss is frustrated with his new employers for failing to sign Sanches.

Sanches was one of Portugal's stars during Euro 2016, which culminated in them beating France in the final last night.

Bayern paid an initial £28m for the teenager but could fork out an additional £35m if performance-related add-ons are met.

Sanches' performances in France were so impressive that some clubs have already enquired about his release clause at Bayern.

Portugal secured their first major international title despite losing captain Cristiano Ronaldo to injury in the first half.
Ronaldo, Portugal's all-time leading scorer, went down after a heavy tackle from Dimitri Payet in the eighth minute but played on before being replaced by   Ricardo Quaresma in the 25th minute.
France nearly snatched a win in stoppage time at the end of 90 minutes when Andre-Pierre Gignac's shot rebounded off the post, while Raphael Guerreiro hit the crossbar with a free kick for Portugal in extra-time.
